SATAN, THE BLOOD IS AGAINST YOU!"

Gen 4:1-14
- It is a little old fashioned, but it is true; the blood is against the workings of the enemy! we need to go back to the preaching of the blood.
- Some of the critics of Christianity have made statements that they did not want to be a part of our Gospel and our ministry because there is so much blood in the scriptures!
- From cover to cover you will find a bloody trail. From the coats of skins that covered the nakedness of Adam, to the animals that are slain in our text, to the spotless lambs of the Levitical priesthood, to the blood that was extracted from the lamb and applied to the doorposts of each believer!
- On and on and over again, you will see a bloody gospel! The Bible has said that the life of the flesh is in the blood!
- The life of the gospel is in the blood! Without the blood we have no gospel at all!
- in this age whereby we have become so excited about Pentecostalism and I am a part of it, I am glad about the liberty of it, the gifts of the Spirit, and all that happened on the Day of Pentecost; but somewhere in the process of us becoming so excited about Pentecost, we have forgotten that Pentecost is only the aftereffects of a Passover experience.
- It was at the Passover that the blood was shed, and if there is no Passover, there can be no Pentecost!
- Exactly fifty days from Passover, Pentecost instantaneously occurs on it's own if there is a real Passover experience.
- We do not have to labor for Pentecost! Because if we have a real Passover experience, Pentecost is a automatic follow-up to a real blood atonement experience that will happen in the life of every believer.
- We need to preach the gospel! We do not need to alter, change, or repair it, it is able all by itself to save from the gutter-most to the utter-most, any soul that will come to Him!
- I don't care whether they are bound by, if he comes to Jesus, the blood will wash him white as snow!
- There will be no deliverance for works, or good ideas, or philosophy, nor will twelve steps, ten steps, or five steps do it.
- Only one step will bring about a mighty change in your life and that step is to get under the fountain!

- The hymnologist said, "There is a fountain, filled with blood, drawn from Immanuels veins, and sinners plunged beneath that flood, lose all their guilty stains....!"
- If it were not for the blood this room would be totally empty, this preacher would not be here, there would have been no singing
- It was the blood itself that sanctified, procured us, delivered us, redeemed us and propitiated our sin and covered us with the grace of God, and I know it was the blood, for one day when I was lost, Jesus died on the cross,
- I know it was the blood for me!
- The book of Genesis is called such because it is a book of beginnings!
- It underscores and underlines, and gives credence to the integrity of the text of the New Testament.
- It is full of types and shadows, symbolism's and a prediction, a preparation, a prophetic composition of truth that is revealed in the New Testament is shadowed and typed in the Old Testament.
- We are looking at the book of beginnings, at the first family, at the beginning of the first struggles.
- And if you’re going to be able to determine how things are going to end, you have to be able to look at the beginning and be able to understand the many truths of this text.
- take some time to glean some truths out of this text that we are looking at
- I don't want to be to lengthy, and I will try to be just as conscientious as possible of your attention span.
The Bible said that Adam knew Eve his wife and she conceived and birthed Cain and said "I have gotten a man-child from the Lord." - Eve was expecting a promise from the Lord, for she knew that there was a prophesy over her even while in the middle of her disgrace and failure.
- It had been prophesied to her that the seed of the woman would rise up and bruise the head of the serpent, and the seed of the serpent would bruise his heel.
- For when she entered into the throes of labor, she was looking for the fulfillment of that prophesy to come to birth in her life.
- Many theologians believe that Cain and Abel were actually twins. They believe that because it does not use the terminology "Adam knew his wife Eve and she conceived with the second birth..."
- The Bible just said, "...and she again bear his brother Abel..." and they believe that it is probably some hinting that Cain and Abel were the result of one birth experience.
- I don't know about that but one thing I do know is that there is a great deal of significance to the order of their birth.

- You are looking at Cain and Abel, you are looking at two sons, regardless of it being one birth or two. Two sons!
- Two sons are important throughout the Bible as you try to understand God's order, plan and purpose for the Body of Christ.
- Cain is the first son and Abel is the second son. It is important that you get that!
- It is the second son that you have to watch out for! Keep that in mind as you study the Word of God!
- Watch out for that second son! It defies nature and law, for nature declares that the inheritance should go to the first born son.
- That is a privilege of the son that is the first-born! But in the scriptures, God has a habit of reversing the order, and blessing the unexpected, and you have to watch out for the second son!
- When you are talking about Cain and Abel, you have to by-pass the first son and focus on the second brother to begin to understand that the blessing of the Lord is on the second son!
- Cain and Abel! Esau and Jacob! Pharez and Zareh struggled in the womb and the nurse put a red thread around one hand, but he got pulled back on the inside and Zareh fought his way out!
- The blessing ultimately fell on the second son! Ultimately it is a fore-shadowing of the second-sons in the kingdom in the presence of the Lord!
- In the eyes of the Lord, God really never had but two sons! The first son was Adam.
- Adam was His first made son, according to the genealogies of Matthew, it said that Adam was the son of God.
- Adam was His first created son, Christ was His only begotten son, and the blessing is upon the second son!
- That first son might muff it, but if you wait on that second son, He has a way of reversing the curse.
- What Adam got me into, Jesus got me out of! To God be the glory for the power of the second son!
- Over and over again you see God crossing His hands and blessing the unexpected, and this generation had better understand the concept of the second son; because I believe that the time has come in the body of Christ, that God is going to bless the unexpected!
- It's not going to be who you thought! It won't be the one who is groomed for the position.
- It won't be the favorite son! It's going to be the one that was voted least likely!

- The one who came through the most trouble and hardship and trials, and traumas!
- The one who went through this and that and the other, and nobody thought that there would be any inheritance laid up for them, but the blessing is coming on the second son.
- The stone that the builders rejected has become the chief corner stone! If you want to see real anointing, look for someone who has been overlooked and rejected and you talk about a powerful anointing, your going to see it!
- The Bible is actually very concise and does not waste time with trivia. If it takes the time to mention an issue, it mentions it because it is very important to us!
- When the Bible begins to talk about it, it says that Abel was a keeper of the sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.
- Cain is the first son: It is his job to work the ground! It is a type of the flesh that God has cursed.
- Cain keeps on working it! He is a picture of humanism, working that which God has already cursed!
- Vain religion! Dead works! But when it talks about Abel, Abel becomes a fore-shadowing and a picture of Jesus Christ; because Abel, like Christ, is a shepherd!
- He takes care of sheep! He has caused the sheep to graze in the grass and from the sheep he brings to God what God really wants, and that is a blood sacrifice!
- The Bible later says, "For without the shedding of blood, there is no remission of sins....!" God demands blood! If you do not have the blood, you have nothing at all!
- Cain is busy trying to control production from the cursed ground.
- Abel on the other hand is caring for something that he is not responsible for bringing about, and that is the birth of the lamb!
- He is trusting the Lord to except what God Himself has created, and he gives a sacrifice that is pleasing in the sight of God.
- And the Bible said, "In the process of time, Cain brought before the Lord that he had worked with his hands....."
- The best way to please God is to give God what he wants! Not what you want, but what He wants!
- Not what you did! What He did!
- Look at Abel as he comes into the presence of the Lord. He comes bearing sheep, and offering them up before God as a sacrifice.
- When Cain offers up that which he has raised up himself, God rejects it.

- In other words, no fire falls on it, God does not receive it, He does not consume it!
- Then, here comes Abel into the presence of the Lord and offers up a more excellent sacrifice, and when he does, God receives the sacrifice.
- I want you to understand something here. God is not a respecter of persons. There is no need in you getting upset when God blesses one person and not another!
- God is not a respecter of persons, and He is not prejudiced. He does not prefer Sally more than Sue, Mark more than James.
- He is not a respecter of persons but He is a respecter of principles. There is no need in people getting upset when you offer up to God something that He will except, and they're frustrated because they are not getting the same results you got.
- There's no need in you being upset if God blesses me! If you do what I do, The moment God begins to bless you and receive what you have, and you offer up certain things before God, you don't have a problem with God, but you have a problem with people.
- People have a problem with you being blessed! As long as Abel had not won the attention and the affection of God, Cain was all right; but the moment Abel offered up a more excellent sacrifice to God, all of a sudden Cain got an attitude because the Bible said that God had respect to Abel's offering!
- That's why I praise God that I am a worshipper! I praise God that I was taught that you should never come to the House of the Lord without an offering!
- "I bless the Lord at all times...." "I come into His gates with thanksgiving and praise..."
- There's no need in you sitting back and rolling your eyes when I offer the sacrifice of praise from the fruit of my lips and God sends down the strong anointing, and the anointing overshadows me and I get my healing!
- My joy! My deliverance! My peace! There's no need in you saying that I am putting on, or acting in my flesh, or it doesn't take all of that; it takes all of that and more! Once you find out what God likes give Him more!
- All of a sudden Abel offered up a sacrifice that caused God to receive it! Now the Bible said in the Book of Hebrews, "Now by faith Abel offered up a more excellent sacrifice than Cain....." The Bible also teaches us that, "Faith cometh by hearing, hearing by the word of God!" I believe that God had made these brothers to know what was an exceptable sacrifice, partially because Hebrews eleven says that Abel offered it up by faith, and the Bible said that faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God!
